Sick
Yep, sickos everywhere u turn these days, cold bugs abound! Our family is immersed in it. What's also sick in another sense was this: Quinn went out with some close guy friends (which I'm super-stoked happy for him, he's done so little of that in the last year). So, the kids both went to bed with super ease, so I thought maybe I'd have a soak in the jacuzzi tub. Filled the tub up, climbed in, water covering the jets and this lovely concoction filled my water (see pic). Yes, I am in my tub with my phone now blogging about it. Gross, good news I get an uninterrupted shower and maybe I'll go do my homework after this. And maybe, I'll clean the jets (again) tomorrow. Jacuzzi tubs are way too much work for this young mama!

Amen to that!! Jacuzzi tubs are a real pain in the ass. Ours has jets too, and the crud that comes out of them is gross. Every so often I have to take apart the covers and scrub them and then fill the tub with water and cleaner and let the stupid jets run forever. If I could afford to rip the whole thing out and just get a normal tub I'd do it in a heartbeat!
Ya I take the jet covers off, all 6 of them, plus the screen, soak it in bleach water for a day and back in. And I also went in with a cloth when they were off and cleaned out best I could, he scum comes back in a matter of weeks, I could see f I was 50 and had time for that kind of cleaning every week, but now I know it's just too much!
If you were 50 you'd be too old to care enough about a jet tub to get on your hands and knees and do that kind of maintenance!
