adventless?

It's Christmas. Since my post on Advent, I really feel that I failed over the last month. But maybe it doesn't matter. I think focusing on "doing" the Advent, might have caused me to miss other important things.

Things like caring for sick kids, snuggles, snuggles, snuggles, important conversations with my husband, listening for what God deems important to tell me about, whether his Son or other things, caring for close friends going through really tough times and trying to help family members struggling.

Maybe in the midst of Advent, God didn't want me to use my time the way I thought would be best, but the way he thought he could use me. I'm glad it went His way and delighted to celebrate Jesus Birthday over a few days.
